Villa Woodbine, where Kaylyn and Juan’s wedding took place is a modern, tropical, Italian country side style venue in Miami. As soon as you enter the grounds, you will be transported back to the tropical sway of classic Old Miami followed by a stop in the Tuscan countryside, no passport required.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful moments at Villa Woodbine, but Juan and Kaylyn’s wedding was truly special. From the stunning location to the heartfelt vows, their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
When I first met Juan and Kaylyn, I knew that their wedding was going to be something special. They were such a fun-loving couple with a great sense of humor and they had put so much thought into every aspect of their day. From the cocktails to the food, and decor everything was a reflection of their love and personality.
The day began with Kaylyn getting ready at Villa Woodbine’s beautiful bridal suite. Her maid of honor and her mother were there to help her with every detail, from her hair and makeup to her stunning dress. As a photographer, I always love this part of the day because I get to capture the excitement and anticipation in the bride’s eyes as she prepares to walk down the aisle.
Juan was getting ready in another part of the villa, surrounded by his groomsmen. They were all in high spirits, joking around drinking cocktails and getting ready for the big day. Juan looked so handsome in his suit, and you could tell he was excited to see his bride.
The ceremony was held outside in the villa’s beautiful courtyard. It was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding, with the lush greenery and gorgeous fountain in the background. Kaylyn looked stunning as she walked down the aisle, and Juan’s face lit up when he saw her. It was such a touching moment, and I felt honored to be able to capture it on camera.
After the ceremony, we took some portraits of the newlyweds around the villa’s grounds. Villa Woodbine has so many beautiful spots for photos, from the ivy-covered walls to the grand staircase. Juan and Kaylyn were so easy to work with, and their love for each other really shone through in every shot.
The reception was decorated with candles, colorful flowers, and twinkling lights. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the guests were all having a great time. Juan and Kaylyn’s first dance was one of the highlights of the evening, as they swayed together to a song under the soft glow of the chandeliers.
As their wedding photographer, it was such a joy to capture Juan and Kaylyn’s special day at Villa Woodbine. Their love for each other was evident in every moment, and I felt honored to be able to document it all for them to treasure for years to come.
