Paula & Rodrigo’s Matheson Hammock Park Engagement Session
Paula & Rodrigo’s Matheson Hammock Park Engagement session was a fun afternoon surrounded by nature! Paula and Rodrigo are such a happy couple. Rodrigo is very outgoing and full of humor. He spent the entire engagement session making Paula laugh. Together, the two of them couldn’t stop smiling and they had the most beautiful smiles while they were in each other’s company!
Paula and Rodrigo are due to be wed next year in Peru. Their wedding day is full of romantic boho vibes with lots of greenery, earthy hues, and rich neutrals. Paula loves the gorgeous tones of nature, and that’s exactly why she picked Matheson Hammock Park for their engagement session. The beautiful natural tones of the park are in line with her wedding day vision. And, she just couldn’t resist having the towering oak trees in the backdrop of their engagement photos!!
Matheson Hammock Park sits on a peninsula in Coral Gables that extends into Biscayne Bay. So in addition to the gorgeous grounds and tall trees throughout the park, there’s also access to a dock and a marina. I took Paula & Rodrigo for a stroll on the docks to capture some of their engagement photos by the still, quiet waters of the marina located on Biscayne Bay. Luckily, by the time we made our way to the waters of the marina, the sun was setting. This created a gorgeous creamy golden hue in the horizon which was such an amazing backdrop for their photos by the water!
Paula and Rodrigo were such an absolute joy to work with. It’s so rare to find a love like theirs, which made every second of their engagement session so special!
