South Pointe Park Surprise Proposal | Miami Proposal Photographer

As a Miami Proposal Photographer, I love working with my clients to capture the magic of their love story! This South Pointe Park surprise will absolutely melt your heart!

Mike and Steph were in town on vacation. But, Mike had a few tricks up his sleeve! He had been planning this surprise proposal to Steph months before their vacation. From contacting me to capture the moment to picking the location where he would drop down on one knee, Mike was a man with a plan.

We met at South Pointe Park in Miami Beach for a sunrise shoot. This particular spot made an amazing choice of location for their photoshoot! With gorgeous views of the ocean, the skyline of Miami Beach in the backdrop, and plenty of rock formations to explore, there’s no better time to plan your surprise proposal photoshoot than at sunrise. The beach is empty and the light coming in over the horizon is breathtaking. With our location selected, I knew that we would capture the joy & magic of this moment for them!

Meeting Steph & Mike that day, I could tell that they were both nervous when we started. Especially Mike! I know it’s not easy to be in front of the camera, and these nerves are totally normal. Especially when you’re hiding a ring box in your pocket! So I chatted them up a bit and we took a nice walk down to the beach, that seemed to do the trick because they were more at ease from that point on! 

The proposal happened, literally, right at sunrise! We could not have timed it any better. When Mike was ready to pull the ring out of his pocket and drop down on one knee, we pulled a “hey look over there”! Steph was so surprised and she could not stop smiling from ear to ear. It was such a beautiful moment to witness. Once she said yes, and the ring was on her finger, we of course took a few more photos to capture their happy moment and celebrate their brand new engagement!
