Hannah and John are celebrating the impending arrival of their sweet baby and Hannah reached out to me to capture the moment. The couple lived together in South Beach for a short period of time. During this time, they spent many days together enjoying the sun and the beautiful sights that South Pointe Park has to offer. So, meeting them at South Pointe Park for their maternity photos was the perfect way to commemorate this new chapter of their life together!
We, of course, eventually made our way down to the shore, but before that, we started the session with some photos of Hannah and John on the palm tree-lined sandy path of South Pointe Park. There is so much gorgeous natural greenery and seagrass in this particular spot, so we had to take advantage of the moment and use it as a backdrop to highlight Hannah’s baby bump!

From there we made our way over to the rocks! The oversized rocks of South Pointe Park gave us a sort of seating area to work with. This allowed me to work in a few different styles of poses for Hannah and John. In this particular area of the park, you’ll also find the most beautiful backdrop of the Miami Beach skyline! Those towering buildings off in the distance with the sun gently setting over them creates such a magical moment. If you plan on having a sunset session, whether it’s maternity, a family session, or engagement photos, capturing this breathtaking view off in the distance is an absolute must!
Hannah and John confided in me that their love language is connecting with each other through silly jokes and laughter. They were definitely not afraid to show off this part of their connection when it came to their time in front of the camera. You can easily see it in their smiles, and the way they giggled with each other when we made our way down to the shore. It was adorable! Once we finally made our way to the beach, Hannah and John walked hand in hand with each other where the sea meets the sand. Hannah got her toes in the sand and she also bared her baby bump to showcase this beautiful moment of just her and baby!
