This Villa Woodbine Miami Wedding was a joyous celebration of love!

Lacey and Alex’s love story is truly unique! Both the bride and groom work as Scientists! They met one another four years ago while working and living in the San Francisco bay area. Each of them knew instantly that they were meant to be together. From there, Alex proposed to Lacey during a trip to Venice, Italy! He took her out for a morning walk at sunrise where he popped the question. Alex even had a photographer waiting in the wings as a surprise, so that they could capture the moment. Lacey described the entire proposal as beautiful and romantic. And I have to admit, that nothing could be more beautiful or romantic than a sunrise proposal in the beautiful city of Venice, surrounded by all of its historic architecture and canals!

The couple has built their relationship on a foundation of mutual support, communication, dedication, and lots of laughter. They wanted their Villa Woodbine Miami Wedding to be a reflection of their connection and their love for each other, but they also wanted to focus on celebrating with their families and friends. Throughout the pandemic, Lacey and Alex noticed how deeply the physical separation from friends and family played a role in their life. Which made them realize how connection and friendship were an essential part of their lives. Making their wedding day a day where everyone could come together while celebrating their vows. Unfortunately, they did have some guests who were unable to attend but Lacey and Alex set up a live stream for them so that they could still watch their vows, even from a distance.

The vibe and decor of their Villa Woodbine Miami Wedding were much like the venue. It was elegant, romantic, classic, and garden-themed. The couple’s wedding day color palette was created in shades of maroon and garnet and accented with white and gold.
