Katie and Torrey are an amazing couple whose wedding day was unfortunately rescheduled multiple times due to the pandemic. But we finally got them married and their Penthouse at Riverside Wharf Wedding was an absolute dream!

Katie and Torrey’s love story began nearly five years ago when they met at a mutual friend’s wedding in Jacksonville. They made eyes at each other from across the room and then Torrey approached Katie and asked if he could sit next to her, what a gentleman! From there, the couple’s relationship has grown and endured over the years as they experienced distance, trials and tribulations, and the added stresses of the pandemic. But, all of that ultimately brought them closer together and made their love even stronger. Making their wedding a day to celebrate their love story while uniting their family and friends!

After meeting Katie, I can tell you that she is pure joy and so full of fun! It was an honor for me to shoot her and Torrey’s wedding day knowing all of the ups and downs that they faced together as a team and that this was finally their moment to celebrate! They put so much thought into every aspect of their day, they even had a special dance rehearsed for their reception (with a change of attire included!), it really added to the overall mood of celebration for the night!

Katie and Torrey’s wedding was formal with black tie optional but the bride and groom along with their guests looked so amazing that you would’ve thought it was a black-tie event. Which made their rooftop reception at Penthouse at Riverside Wharf, overlooking the Miami skyline, utter perfection! While I could go on and on about the boho meets tropical theme, the gorgeous florals, and all of the amazing design and decor, I think I’ll let the photos do the talking!! Because I am dying to tell you where they really put their focus when planning their wedding day!

Katie and Torrey were focused and committed to spending the day celebrating their love for one another and the love they share for their families. They wanted their wedding to be an event where their guests enjoyed being in each other’s company while being treated to amazing eats and awesome entertainment! Katie and Torrey created a delicious menu for their guests to dine on while making sure that the music, entertainment, and festivities were truly unique and fun for everyone!
