Alec and Zan’s traditional with an old world feel Jewish wedding at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale was such a beautiful event. Alec and Zan have been together over 5 years, and actually met through Alec’s mom! They didn’t have much faith in the pairing at first, but they ended up hitting it off and falling in love. They were both one of each other’s first serious relationships, and they both were extremely focused on their careers. Fast forward five years, and they could not have been more excited to celebrate their relationship and hard work.
Alec and Zan had a traditional Jewish wedding and really wanted to focus on keeping things simple, yet intimate. The venue itself had a lot of light grey, modern touches- so they opted for a black and white color palette to keep things elegant and timeless. Zan told me when we first spoke that she wanted to focus on the intimate moments. During their first look, they read letters to each other, and Alec was completely surprised by Zan’s dress (he had originally pictured something different!). During the ceremony, Zan’s nieces and nephews played the part of flower girls and ring bearers, and definitely stole the show. Throughout their wedding, they incorporated lots of Jewish traditions, including stepping on a glass, using a chuppah, and lifing the parents and the bride and groom up in chairs! It was such a beautiful day. Congratulations Alec and Zan!
